A special and moving celebration took place in Bender as Alexander and Esfira Andekov began their life together, establishing a new Jewish home in keeping with Jewish tradition.
On the banks of the Dniester River, beneath the chuppah and surrounded by family, friends, and community members, the wedding blessings were recited. The groom broke the glass, and joyful cries of “Mazel tov!” filled the air.
For many guests, it was their first opportunity to attend a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony. The occasion held particular significance in Bender, a city with a rich Jewish history. Each new chuppah here celebrates the continuity of Jewish life, the preservation of tradition, and the beginning of a new Jewish family.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with a festive wedding meal, music, dancing, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
We wish Alexander and Esfira many happy years together, filled with love, health, joy, and blessings. May their home always be full of light, warmth, and happiness.
Mazel tov and l’chaim!
