During Sukkot, activities centered on the mitzvah of the Four Species were also held in the Jewish communities of Beltsy and Bender.
Jews of different ages had the opportunity to take the lulav and etrog, recite the blessing and fulfill the holiday mitzvah as part of local Jewish community life.
For many participants, this was an opportunity to perform the mitzvah in their own city and feel connected to the broader Sukkot celebrations taking place across Jewish communities in Moldova. The activities reflect the ongoing effort to reach Jews beyond Kishinev and strengthen Jewish life in cities and communities throughout the country.
