
Ezras Achim – Chabad of Moldova, directed by the local Shliach and Chief Rabbi Zalman Abelsky, ensured that every Jew in the country should be taken care of, in honor of the Pesach holiday.
Food Distribution
The Chesed Center of Kishinev, distributed Matzah, Wine and other Pesach food to hundreds of local residents, and sent trucks with Pesach food to 10 cities and villages with small Jewish populations.
Matzah was also distributed to dignitaries and businessmen who do not come to the Chesed Center.
Kosher Wine
Due to the rising costs of shipping and import, the local Chabad students produced a delicious Kosher L’pesach wine for distribution in the country, supervised by Rabbi Abelsky.
The wine was also shipped to neighboring countries in honor of Pesach.
Pesach Seder
Hundreds of Jews from the city filled the “Capital’s Look” Hall for the Pesach Seder, hearing inspiring stories and singing lively songs. Local cooks were hired to produce a full Pesach menu according to all Lubavitcher Chumrahs, and they did a good job…
