Hundreds of Jewish community members and Chișinău residents came today to pay their final respects to our dear community member, Edik — Eduard ben Amnon Maidenberg, of blessed memory.
The funeral procession departed from the Chabad Synagogue in Chișinău — the place that had been a warm home for Edik for many years — and continued to the Jewish section of the city cemetery, where the community accompanied him on his final journey.
The presence of so many people was a moving testament to the love, respect and deep connection that surrounded Edik throughout his life.
