What an incredible Lag BaOmer celebration Chabad Moldova gave our community!
The evening brought people together and filled the atmosphere with joy, warmth, and a true sense of Jewish unity.
From the festive parade that began at the Chabad Lubavitch Synagogue in Chișinău, to the grand bonfire and BBQ, every moment carried a special energy, spirit, and inspiration. In a beautiful way, the celebration connected Chișinău with 770 — bringing the light, spirit, and living message of the Rebbe’s headquarters to the heart of Moldova.
The joy of Lag BaOmer was not only a local celebration; it was another expression of the Rebbe’s vision: that Jewish life should shine proudly in every place, from Crown Heights to Chișinău, and from 770 to every Jewish heart.
A highlight of the night was the lively performance by Pinhas & Sheqel, whose music brought everyone to their feet with dancing, excitement, and a beautiful festive mood. Children enjoyed special entertainment and interactive games, while families and friends gathered together to experience the warmth of community and the joy of the holiday. It was a truly special and unforgettable evening in honor of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai — a night of Jewish pride, unity, happiness, and inspiration.
