As the Jewish festival of Purim approaches, shluchim in Moldova are making the final preparations.
This includes packaging special Purim kits in Hebrew and Russian, which include mishloach manos (a gift of two foods that is given out on the day) and a colorful explanation of the practices and laws of the festival.
The packages are being prepared in the storerooms of Ezras Achim-Chabad Lubavitch in Kishinev. The material was published by Chabad of Moldova’s division in New York, run by Rabbi Zushe Abelsky.
