Hundreds of Jews of the city, together with respected representatives of the community, gathered for a solemn and beautifully organized Passover Seder at Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel, conducted by the Habad of Moldova.
The seder was carefully prepared by Rabbi Shneur-Zalman Tiffenbrun and conducted by Rabbi Shmuel Zalmanov.
The welcoming remarks were given by Rabbi Zushe Abelsky, Mr. Simha Buzor, Mr. Alexander Bilinkis, Chief Rabbi of Moldova Mendel Axelrod, and other distinguished representatives of the community.
The evening was spent in an atmosphere of unity, dignity and Jewish pride – the true spirit of freedom.
