On Sunday, March 22, our Chabad Children’s Studio travelled thousands of years back — to the time of our ancestors’ Exodus from Egyptian slavery.
We recreated a real matzah bakery: the children ground wheat grains, crushed them into coarse meal, and within just 18 minutes prepared dough. Rolling and baking their own shmurah matzah became a fascinating discovery and a truly memorable experience.
A special highlight of the day was a creative activity, where each child made their own decorated pillow with a traditional Seder plate design. This will be used during the upcoming Passover Seder — as reclining symbolises the freedom of a people who were once enslaved.
It was a truly special day, filled with joy, excitement, and the shining eyes of children inspired by our traditions.
