The Jews of Beltsy also had the privilege of hearing the sound of the shofar and preparing together for the upcoming holidays in a warm Jewish atmosphere.
Rabbi Zalman Gotzel traveled especially to Beltsy, where a gathering was held with dozens of members of the local Jewish community. The participants heard the sounding of the shofar, spent meaningful time together, and received everything they needed for the holidays.
A particularly special moment for the community was the visit, on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, of the Chief Rabbi of Moldova, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Axelrod, who met with members of the community and warmly blessed them.
Despite the distances and practical challenges, our mission remains the same: to reach every Jew and ensure that Jewish life and the warmth of Judaism can be felt throughout Moldova.
Wishing everyone a Gmar Chatima Tova — may we all be sealed for a happy and sweet New Year!
